Is your Google Business Profile causing problems?
If you’re trying to fix your Google Business Profile in Melbourne, you’re not alone — many local businesses face issues with suspended, missing or incorrect listings.
- Your business is suspended
- You’re not showing on Google Maps
- Your hours, address or details are wrong
- You have duplicate listings

Why Google Business Profiles break or disappear
- Inconsistent business information across the web

- Edits made by Google’s system or suggested by users
- Duplicate or conflicting listings creating confusion
- Long periods of inactivity on the profile
- A verification that lapsed or was never completed

What I help you fix
- Profile review and issue identification – so you know exactly what’s wrong
- Correcting incorrect, outdated or inconsistent details
- Cleaning up duplicate listings
- Preparing and submitting reinstatement requests for suspended profiles
- Improving how your listing reads so customers can actually find you
About suspended profiles
A suspension means Google has flagged your profile for review — usually because something doesn’t align with their guidelines. It doesn’t always mean you’ve done something wrong. Sometimes it’s a technicality. Sometimes it’s triggered by an edit, a category change, or a duplicate listing Google detected.
What it does mean is that your business has effectively disappeared from Google Maps until it’s resolved.
I help you work out why the suspension happened, what needs to be corrected, and how to put together a reinstatement request that gives you the best chance of getting back up. Google makes the final call — but how you approach the process matters.

How long does it take to fix a Google Business Profile in Melbourne?
Honestly, it depends on what’s going on. Simple fixes – wrong information, missing details, outdated photos – can be sorted within a few days. Something more serious like a suspension takes longer, sometimes several weeks, because it goes through Google’s own review process. I’ll always give you a realistic timeframe once I’ve had a look at your profile.
Can a suspended Google Business Profile always be restored?
Not always – and I’d rather be upfront about that than promise something I can’t guarantee. Google reviews every case individually, and most profiles can be reinstated when the right steps are taken. But the outcome depends on why it was suspended in the first place. The sooner you act, the better your chances.
Why is my business not showing up on Google Maps?
There are a few common reasons – an incomplete profile, incorrect details, a category mismatch, or a suspension you might not even know about. It’s rarely just one thing, which is why a proper look at your specific profile is always the starting point. A lot of venues are invisible on Maps for completely fixable reasons.
Do I need ongoing management after my profile is fixed?
Not necessarily. Some issues are a one-time fix and you’re good to go. That said, Google’s algorithm rewards profiles that stay active and current – regular updates, fresh photos, consistent information. If you’d rather hand that off than think about it, I offer ongoing support. But there’s no pressure to do more than you need.
Can you help if my business is outside Melbourne?
Yes – most of what I do works just as well remotely. I’m based in Melbourne and work with venues across Victoria, but Google Business Profile management doesn’t require me to be on-site. If you’re somewhere else in Australia and you’re having profile issues, get in touch and we’ll figure out if I can help.
